About Me

Host and producer of the New Thinking Allowed channel on YouTube -- featuring conversations on parapsychology, spirituality, philosophy, psychology, health, science, history, and culture. (See www.newthinkingallowed.com.) Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. (See www.thinking-allowed.com.)

Author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, Thinking Allowed, and The PK Man. 

Recipient of the only doctoral diploma in "parapsychology" ever awarded by an accredited university (University of California, Berkeley, 1980). He currently teaches parapsychology at the Holmes Institute for ministers in training with the Centers for Spiritual Living.

Past-president of the non-profit Intuition Network, an organization dedicated to creating a world in which all people are encouraged to cultivate and apply their inner, intuitive abilities.

Past vice-president of the Association for Humanistic Psychology and recipient of the Pathfinder Award from that association for contributions to the study of human consciousness.
