PA Student Members belong to a community of individuals passionate about parapsychology and dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge in this field. To qualify for student membership, the application requires proof of student status (in either high school or an accredited college or university pursuing a baccalaureate or higher degree) and an annual dues fee. The PA Student Committee hosts a series of monthly meetings, designed to address the needs and interests of student members. These casual live online events are held on Discord and provide a platform to connect with fellow students. Happening every first full week's Saturday of the month at 13:15 ET (18:15 GMT), the PA Student Monthly Meetings officially last for 45 minutes, but attendees are welcome to join later or stay longer. Most events run for about 1 - 2 hours.
At times, the PA Student Committee invites student members from other aligned communities to their meetings, such as Society for Scientific Exploration, Society for Psychical Research, Scientific & Medical Network, Rhine Research Center, California Institute for Integral Studies, and more. This enriches student networks and strengthens the community as a whole. Occasionally, these meetings feature guest speakers and Q&A sessions to discuss topics relevant to students.
