The winner of the 2015 PA Outstanding Contribution Award is Nancy L. Zingrone. This yearly award is given to a PA Professional or Associate Member who has made an outstanding research or service contribution that has advanced the discipline of parapsychology.

Dr. Nancy L. Zingrone received her BA in Psychology from the Mundelein College (now a part of Loyola University) in Chicago, an MSEd in Higher Education with Psychology as a teaching specialty from Northern Illinois University, Doctoral Candidacy in History from Duke University, and a PhD in Psychology from the University of Edinburgh. She has published more than 30 articles in English and Spanish, in, among others, the Australian Journal of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis, Imagination, Cognition and Personality, the Journal of the Society for Psychical Research and the Virtual Education Journal.

She is also a two-term past President of the Parapsychological Association, was the Director of Publications at the Parapsychology Foundation from 2000 through 2008, an Assistant Professor of Research at the Division of Perceptual Studies at the University of Virginia from 2003 through 2011, a member of the Board of Directors of the Rhine Research Center from 2010 through 2014, and the Director of Academic and Administrative Affairs at Atlantic University from 2010 to 2013. Currently she is a Research Fellow affiliated with the Parapsychology Foundation, and an adjunct faculty member in the School of Psychology at Northcentral University.

Her interests in online education led to co-founding and developing in 2009, the Alvarado Zingrone Institute for Research and Education in the virtual world, Second Life, in operation since 2009. More recent educational projects include the YouTube Channel and blog, Parapsychology Online, and the first massively open online course in the field, Parapsychology and Anomalistic Psychology: Research and Education, aimed at providing a high level of education in scientific parapsychology to a wide audience. In addition Zingrone also writes her own blog about online education in general, Thinking About Learning, which is supplemented by her YouTube Channel, Teaching and Learning Online.
