SSE-PA Connections 2021
A combined online meeting of the Society for Scientific Exploration and the Parapsychological Association
July 23 – 31, 2021
The Society for Scientific Exploration and the Parapsychological Association are joining together to sponsor an online meeting that will emphasize the connections between all of us – seen and unseen. Our dependence on technology has provided opportunities for us to gather together from great distances using a variety of methods, and this meeting will provide access and participation from people around the world.
We are now accepting submissions in the form of long abstracts, no more than 750 words in length. Submissions should be an MS-Word compatible document using the MS-Word template provided at this link.
Both the SSE and PA follow strict scientific approaches to pursue a better understanding of the human condition through explorations of anomalous experiences, remote viewing, subtle energies of the body, intentional and unconscious effects on objects and electronics, encounters, and other experiences related to the nature of consciousness. Both groups include serious scientists who publish in peer-reviewed journals and curious people who want to better understand their experiences. The merging of minds at this conference will expose each of us to new ideas and help us to gain understanding of the variety of perspectives that exist in our research community. A wide range of topics is appropriate for this conference, regardless of the discipline or focus, provided the work demonstrates a scientific approach and passes the program committee’s peer-review process.
Appropriate submissions will have a scientific focus in the form of research studies, investigative experiential reports, robust critical evaluations of existing literature or research, or theoretical foundations for anomalous experiences and psi phenomena. Panel proposals on specific topics, including potential panel members, are also welcome.
Submissions are due by May 10, 2021 at pm 11:59pm Eastern US Time. We welcome all submissions.
