Athens International Airport – Eleftherios Venizelos is one of the newest and advanced airports in Europe. It is a major tourist destination, so you can find flights from the majority of airlines companies. From the airport, you can travel to the centre of town using the Underground Metro – Tube or Busses. The “Metro – Tube” option costs 10 euros (one-way, March 2015) and it takes 30-45 minutes to get anywhere in the centre of Athens. The “Bus” option costs 6 euros (one-way, March 2015) and it takes 60 minutes to get to the centre of town. 

From the centre of Athens, you can go easily anywhere using three Metro lines and dozens of busses going around the city. Athen's metro system is among the newest in Europe, and very easy to be used by foreigners. The cost of a one-way ticket to use everything (metro-bus-train etc.) for 90 minutes in the main city of Athens is 1,40 euros per person.

TITANIA Location & Public Transport Access
The TITANIA hotel is located within walking distance from the most important historical and cultural monuments of Athens, such as the Archaeological Museum, the University of Athens, The National Library, and the Parliament. It is also close to the Acropolis as well as to the modern commercial shops and city malls.

From the Titania hotel, you may set off to explore the city, due to its easy access to public transport. Located between two underground stations (Omonia station & Panepistimo station), the Hotel has a wide variety of public transport services to offer its guests in order for them to visit the commercial city centre, and most entertainment venues.

All retail stores generally operate from 8:30 to 17:00 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and from 8:30 to 14:00 and 17:30 to 20:30 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Most city malls are open until 21:00 on week days and 20:00 on Saturdays. Most retail stores are close on Sundays, with the exception of stores located in Plaka and Monastiraki.

1. By Metro (map)
- Take the Blue Line (Line 3 - direction ‘Egaleo’) and get off at Syntagma station.
- From Syntagma station you can (a) either take the Red Metro Line (Line 2 -
direction ‘Aghios Antonios’) and get off at Panepistimiou station (Exit: National
Library) and from Panepistimiou station, walk to Titania Hotel or (b) walk from
Syntagma Square to Titania Hotel.

2. By Suburban Rail
- From the Airport take the Suburban Rail Line (Black Line) and change at
Doukissis Plakentias station.
- From Doukissis Plakentias station, take the Blue Line (Line 3 - direction
‘Egaleo’) and get off at Syntagma Station3.
- From Syntagma Square you can either take the Metro or walk to Titania Hotel.

3. By Bus (map)
- From the Airport take Bus Line X95 ‘Syntagma – Athens Airport Express’
(Orange Line).
- From Syntagma Square you can either take the Metro or walk to Titania Hotel.
- You can also take a bus (most of them are passing by in front of the hotel,
while some stop right in front of the hotel).
