Atlantic University offers an online and distance education accredited Masters Degree Program in Transpersonal Studies that includes a number of courses relevant to parapsychology including “Principles of Parapsychology” currently taught by Loyd Auerbach. Faculty members, Doug Richards and Loyd Auerbach are available to mentor a parapsychology-focused Culminating Project. For more information: www.atlanticuniv.edu.
Sofia University (formerly the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology until 2012) offers low residency PhDs in transpersonal psychology through both its Residential and Global programs, as well as Masters programs. While there is no program in parapsychology per se, Sofia is unusual in having two core faculty members (Arthur Hastings and Charles Tart) who are knowledgeable about parapsychology. Charles Tart occasionally offers an introductory course in parapsychology and students may pursue dissertation research that touches on parapsychological aspects of psychology. However both Professor Hastings and Professor Tart are past ordinary retirement age, so interested students should write one (Arthur.Hastings@Sofia.edu) or the other (Charles.Tart@Sofia.edu) of them before formally applying to one of the Sofia programs. For more information: www.Sofia.edu.
Saybrook Graduate School offers non‐residential, accredited Masters and PhD programs allowing students to design their own degree in psychology with an emphasis on parapsychology. Stanley Krippner and Dean Radin can supervise research in parapsychological topics. For more information: www.saybrook.edu
University of Edinburgh - Dr. Caroline Watt offers an introductory online course on parapsychology.
